DIVISIONAL ADVISORY BOARD
RECEIVES CARIBBEAN'S 2007
"HIGH PERFORMANCE BOARD" AWARD
The Bahamas Division Advisory Board was
both surprised and elated when the announcement came that it had
received an award for it's efforts. The Salvation Army Caribbean
Territorial Headquarters recently made the announcement that it's
inaugural High Performance Board Award would go to the Bahamas division
board, with the Suriname and Eastern Jamaica boards receiving second
and third places, respectively. Territorial Headquarters is in
Kingston, Jamaica, and has regional administrative responsibility for
the work of The Salvation Army in 16 countries around the
Caribbean. In a letter to Chairman Judy Munroe, territorial
commander Commissioner Raymond Houghton congratulated the board.
The Chairman accepted the Award on behalf of the board (see Board
Members), pledging to continue assisting the Army in The Bahamas to
fulfill its mission.
